Saint Médard

L’Eglise Saint Médard in St Médard, in the commune of Clermont Dessous (47130) is one of the churches in the Lot et Garonne in which Anglican services are occasionally held.

Services
The first service was at Christmas 2011, a Carol Service of Nine Lessons and Carols, held jointly with the Catholic church and was conducted equally in English and French. We are delighted that this has become an annual tradition.
Previously there were generally four services held each year: Easter Sunday, Summer service in July, Harvest Festival in September and the Christmas Carol Service, with the local community in English and French, in December.
Our Congregation
Everyone is welcome to the services and we hope that many will join us in worship at St Médard.
Our Thanks
We are very grateful to Père Jean-Jacques Fauconnet for allowing the Chaplaincy of Aquitaine to conduct services in this church. We are lucky to have the use of such a lovely church. Thanks also go to the Mayor and people of St Médard, Clermont Dessous for their support, especially Carol Spires who prepares the church so beautifully for the services.
